Three Bees Maxaloones are designed to accommodate many shapes and sizes.
They are perfect for cloth diapering but fit great with disposables as well as for those who are potty trained and wear underwear.
They fit a wonderful range of children ranging from roughly 6 months to up to 2 and even 3 years. If your child is on the bigger size, or has lusciously chunky thighs the leg bands might be on the tighter side. I have a Monsterloone pattern and would be more than happy to make a larger size for you.
My 21 lb 8 month old super chunk, who wears size 18-months, fits wonderfully in these pants and she'll be wearing them for AT LEAST one more year. Remember, as they become mobile, they typically thin out. This is why they these shorts will continue to fit for an extended period.
****SIZE UPDATE**** my 28 lb 25 month old is between sizes 2t and 3t in store bought clothes. The maxalonnes still fit her wonderfully, she still has room to grow in length, and although the waist still fits her comfortably, its a little on the snug side. ******* The monsterloone (2t-6y) pattern fits her quite baggy, but fits my 5 1/2 year old nicely*****

The material is Cotton Lycra and has good stretch. It’s machine wash and dry safe but like any other garment hang or flat drying will keep it looking new longer.
Fabric is pre-washed in ALL free and clear detergent with a fragrance/dye free softener.
